There were many instances of lost time accidents occurring at the work place. This study objective is to investigate the factors that contributed to the poor safety performance of the company. The software used for the analysis and presentation of the findings are based on IBM SPSS Statistical and Microsoft Excel. The result of the study reveals that there is significance relationship between the dependent and the independent variables.This study provides a set of recommendations and guidelines to the managing director of the company to make decisive and critical decision to reduce the lost time accident at the work place and therefore will improve on the poor safety performance of the company. This study can be the foundation stone for future more in-depth research work to those who are interested in this subject matter. |
