Title A case study on job satisfaction and employee loyalty in Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Private Limited/ Tan Jia Ren
Abstract The nine dimensions of work, pay, promotion, recognition, benefit, supervision, company and management, co-workers and working conditions demonstrate a potential significance of this study which aims to identify the importance of job satisfaction towards the employees’ loyalty at Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Private Limited. Methods Two hundred questionnaires were distributed to the employees of Fuji Xerox and only 113 sets of questionnaires were returned, generating a response rate of 57% from a random sampling of 200 employees. Three research questions directed the job satisfaction level between the three variables (benefits offered, their supervisor and management role, and the working environment), the correlation between job satisfaction and the three variables, and the job satisfaction affect the employees loyalty toward the company using regression analyzes. Results The benefits received show a neutral level of job satisfaction with the company recognition for their achievement show the most dissatisfied. On the other hand, the empowerment role and working environment show a slightly satisfied. Overall, the correlation analysis confirms that there is a significant and positive relationship between job satisfaction, role empowerment, environment, benefits and employee loyalty. Among the variables, benefits are the most important, follow by working environment and role of empowerment. Conclusion Many areas in the company affect the job satisfaction and employee loyalty. From the analysis and findings done in the study, we can conclude that the relationship between benefits, role empowerment, working environment, job satisfaction and employee loyalty are positively interrelated. In conclusion, this study provides an overview and opportunity for Fuji Xerox to maintain, respond, evaluate and improve their strategies in the employees’ retention programs and job satisfaction.
