Abstract
|
This study examines a case study of Total Quality Management implementation in the organization namely SYSTEM MATIC SDB BHD which facing several issues to meet their customer satisfaction index. Total Quality Management has been used in manufacturing plants since many years ago, but organizations that implemented with successful story and sustainable in the business will be not many. Hence, this study explores that which system will be more suitable and able to adopt by SYSTEM MATIC SDN BHD as their culture and philosophy which able to benefit the company to solve their problem and future continuous improvement. A mixture of method of both quantitative and qualitative approaches are used in this in-depth study. The findings indicate a significant relationship and support from internal and external stakeholders for the Total Quality Management implementation for the company. The study reveals that with the implementation of Total Quality Management, the company will improve on their quality services, process improvement, customer satisfaction and obviously the people involvement with high morale while working in the company.The results of this case study evaluation demonstrate a favourable decision making
justification that this case firm would have a feasible project for implementation. Several recommendations were highlighted for future study, which may be of value to decision makers of diverse interests and expertise in the industry, and future market driven.
