Title A study of factors that influence customer’s behavior on choices of selection of retail banking in Perak. / Pandian Sarangabanly
Abstract The objective of the study is to investigate the factor that affect consumer behaviour when choosing the bank in Perak, Malaysia. The following independent variable of Pricing of Products and services, Service Quality, Convenience, Security and Brand Image was used and the result shows they are positively significant on the effect of bank selection. The research is done through quantitative analysis by distributing questionnaires to respondents and the target was retail bank customers in Perak, Malaysia. The data collected from the survey was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23.0. There was 82 respondent’s feedback received and was analysed and presented through the test of Reliability Test, Pearson s Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis and Anova one-way Test. The research finding showed that Brand Image has the highest significant positive relationship with Bank Selection and follow by Service Quality. Convenience and Pricing of Products and Services. Security shows the least positive significant relationship with bank selection.
