Abstract
|
The inventory management has emerged as key factors for manufacturing firm in such Ignition S/B organization wanting to meet their customer demand in the downstream chain. Downstream chains of Ignition S/B in Malaysia face a number of challenges that affect customer satisfaction. Information technology advances and poor inventory management are some of the challenges that affect customer satisfaction in the downstream channel.
This study is attempted to establish sound inventory management system further with the important of information sharing that correlation with the customer satisfaction. Ignition manufacturing firm has neglected the issues of information sharing and inventory management which has affected their capability to address the customer needs.
The result indicate that the firm ability that the firm management has agree that share information and ensure well manage inventory management has implication on customer satisfaction. In conclusion channel partner required the installation of information system and customer collaboration to establish well communication through information sharing and inventory management to boost up the customer satisfaction.
