Title Determinants of patients satisfaction in Penang's Hospitals / Ng Pei Ning
Abstract The study on patient satisfaction started back in the 1950’s which mainly focus on the interaction between doctor and patient. Patients’perceived quality is one of the major factors that will draw them to the centre of their choice. The purpose of this study is to identify the main factors that generally will lead to high Penang patient satisfaction. The population of the study consists of general public in Penang. The findings reveal that outcome of the treatment is always important in determining patients’ satisfaction; doctor’s technical skills and communication skills, experience,good track records, good quality pharmaceutical products, advance diagnostic machines and clear message board.
