Abstract
|
Employee turnover can be seen as a common issue happen in every industry, it has received substantial attention from both academics and managers. Poor management of human resources can cause many negative influences to company in long term.
In today’s competitive market, Silvertek is now facing high turnover in their employees, this outcome is show the weakness in market competition although it invest a lot of physical equipment to level up their productivity.
The objective of this research study is to find out the areas or reason internally and externally at Silvertek that caused the employee turnover. The study also identifies the steps to minimize employee’s turnover and weaknesses of current management approach in Silvertek. This research study is based on questionnaire, which revealed that the relationship between the organizational variables and individual variables is particularly relevant in the turnover.
The study has identified several areas or factors of concern both internally and externally at Silvertek, all these pull and push factors are such as a competitive pay, career advancement, training opportunities, team building, recognition on present job, Fairness in establishing compensation that caused the main reason of employee turnover.
Those negative findings would be given suggested solutions in the part of recommendations
