Abstract
|
The objective of this study is to investigate the Hong Leong 5S system is to improve the PDQCSM (Productivity, Delivery, Quality, Cost, Safety and Morale) in Carsem Semiconductor, measure the efficiency of the Hong Leong 5S system in Carsem Semiconductor after one year implemented, and investigate the job satisfaction of the employees after implementation of Hong Leong 5S system.After reviewing the literature review from others writer, found out system Hong Leong Standard 5S system is similar to the 5S that implemented in Japan. The only different is the checklist which is related to the Semiconductor Industry. Based on the literature review, found the implementation of the 5S is able to improve the productivity, quality, delivery, cost of the product and it is a part of the Lean Manufacturing where most of the factory is focusing nowadays.The data and analysed that taken on this study is based on the actual production in one of the Business Unit in Carsem Semiconductor.
