Abstract
|
Recent statistical data compiled on global scale within the banking industry revealed that customer loyalty are thinning arising from various macro-micro attributes. The compromising issues on customer loyalty waning posed not only shrinking profits and logistics nightmare to bankers worldwide but also the consequences from the after-effects in long run.
Consumer banking within Malaysia is not spared from such revolution as technological onslaught have transformed many conventional brick-and-mortar business into bricks-and-clicks conglomerate that demand for personalize and fast services. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence customer loyalty in consumer banking in Penang, Malaysia within the context of consumer behavioral model.
