With the availability of smartphones, the online social messenger application, WhatsApp has become a platform and tool for teachers and parents to communicate for educational purposes. This study aims to explore the perceptions of the teachers on the use of WhatsApp for communication especially with parents and to investigate the positive and negative effects that occurred during the process.
