Abstract
|
This research study is to find out what are the factors that will influence an employee’s commitment towards his or her organization. As nowadays, committed employees are playing important role in bringing organization to achieve its goals and mission. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors that influence employee’s commitment so that the organization is able to make improvement. The method used in conducting in this study is questionnaire. Questionnaires are distributed to the employees working in manufacturing sector in Prai, Penang area and collected back after two weeks’ time for further analysis. In this study, five factors are found to have positive relationship with organizational commitment. These five factors are perceived organizational support, job involvement, job satisfaction, working environment and demographics factors.
