Abstract

This research aims to find out how the factors of remuneration, learning opportunity to
learning, empowerment, chances to get promoted, and working environment affect or
influence the loyalty and job motivation of the employees who work in the construction
material distribution sector in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Besides examining the overall responses,
this research also aims to find out the satisfaction level of the employees based on four
different categories (gender, age, position, tenure) and examine the ranking of the factors
based on the categories. Finally, this research also aims to identify the issues faced by the
management and suggest solutions to the employers or company management on how to
reduce and control the turnover rates, and improve the satisfaction level of their employees.
