Abstract
|
In view of the more challenging economic conditions, ABC Glove Manufacture Company is
facing critical challenges especially from depreciation of USD, rising high of latex cost and
competition from global. In order to sustain in business, ABC Company implemented Quality
Circle Control (QCC) with the purpose of cost cutting and operate efficiently. However, the
QCC projects conducted ineffectively due to lower participation from the employees. Study was
conducted by researcher to evaluate the types of motivators which related to participation rate.
There were two major types of motivators under evaluation which were attitude motivators and
knowledge management motivators.
From the study, researcher discovered that attitude motivator was playing a major role in
encouraging participation rate. A long with the study, opinions and recommendations were
collected from the respondents and managements for designing the proper motivator such as
reward system to further improve the QCC projects participation rate for ABC Company.
