Abstract
|
Performance management is an important component of employee’s development. A well- executed performance management system incorporated with training and development, career planning, remunerations package, promotions, transfers, disciplinary procedures, termination and other development process needs in an organization. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is one of the tools to measure employee’s performance. This research is a case study on how KPI should be a vital navigation instruments used by an organization to understand whether the performance are on course to success or not. A right set of KPI will highlight on individual as well as departmental performance that align to the overall company’s performance. Benchmarking KPIs is used to identify poor performing area and estimating improvement potential. This research objective are study the suitability of KPI in the organization, to find out the possible effect from the implementation and later to recommend the company to make a huge change in the replacing the current performance appraisal method to KPI
