In this study, the written English essays of forty-two L2 diploma students of Politeknik Kuching Sarawak were analyzed to identify the most common grammatical errors and frequency of errors. Using the Error Analysis method and Markin 4 software, the errors were extracted and categorized into ten types of errors.
