Abstract
|
The study investigate and identify Critical Success Factor of e-commerce on Founder Factor, E-service Factor and External Factor. Seven suggested hypotheses were tested among citizens in Malaysia, generally citizens in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor state. Essentially, this study will help big and small companies as well as all entrepreneurs to seek opportunities on guidelines to make critical decision and improvement by understanding the Success Factor of e-commerce. A theoretical framework is also proposed for this research. A survey has also been carried out among citizens in Malaysia. Based on 150 respondents, the results show: first, External Factor is significantly and negatively related to the success of e-commerce; second, it is also revealed that Founder Factor and E-service Factor are not related to the success of e-commerce. As policy implementation, long term success of e-commerce performance will affect the success of e-commerce through goals and objectives. Hence the characteristic of product or services will become the main leading games in e-commerce. In terms of customer view, the evaluation of online activity on e-commerce will play a vital role now.
