Abstract
|
This project was conducted to evaluate Digi mobile subscriber’s satisfaction after Digi has upgraded their transmission path from microwave link to fiber optics. The upgrade was performed on Digi’s network infra-structure to enhance their customer’s experience with Digi. The upgrade solely to serve the purpose of increasing the capacity in the network, provide faster internet connection, to avoid service interruption and etc. Therefore a total of 100 respondents were chosen to conduct this survey to evaluate the customer’s satisfaction towards Digi mobile operator. Each and every respondent was given a questionnaire where it reflects on one dependent variable and four independent variables. The four independent variables consist of service quality, data speed, service congestion and data distortion where the dependent variable is Digi mobile subscriber’s satisfaction. The final findings of this study was indicated that service quality does not have any significant relationship with Digi mobile subscriber’s satisfaction whereas the balance two independent variables which are data speed and service congestion has significant positive relationship with Digi mobile customer’ s satisfaction. The other independent variable which was data distortion is negatively related to Digi mobile customer’s satisfaction. Thus this study indicates and concludes that service quality has no value in influencing the customer’s satisfaction but the balance three independent variables which are data speed, service congestion and data distortion plays an important role in influencing customer’s satisfaction.
