Abstract
|
In current years, English language is seen as a credit to obtain knowledge and bring about development. With this the importance of English needs no further clarification. Thus, it is necessary to further explore the importance of the English Language in the Business World, to be specific the Travel Industry. This research is a quantitative as it investigates the cause and effect of language in the travel industry. The overall findings of this research indicated that the role of English language is indeed important. It helps the tourism agents in a variety of aspects. Let it be communication, sustaining current job status, and increasing revenue. Therefore, it is highly recommended that higher education and employees look into developing student and staff proficiency in English language.
