Abstract
|
This study has taken close to six months upon completion. The study aims to study the
risk management and risk mitigation for Reuters Malaysia. The outcome of this study
includes identifying the level of preparedness and the efficiency of current management on
risks subsequently helps the company to seek for improvement. A survey was conducted
in the company, there were 30 respondents out of 50 survey questionnaires distributed.
The results conclude that risk awareness and preparedness of risk for the company is
relatively good. Nevertheless there is still room for improvement which is related to the
human element. The result also indicates that the company faces a high risk on IT threat.
The study findings showed that there were significant relationship with level of education
and risks awareness, length of service and risks awareness, and employees’ position with
risks awareness. Finally several recommendations are introduced to further improve its
deficiency.
