Abstract
|
The increasing amount of municipal solid waste that has cause serious effect on the environmental problem which require a better solution to handle the waste that are producing. As for that reason, a proper method of handling environment, social, and economy is essential through numerous ways such as to implement and techniques in managing waste. Therefore, it is important to identify the current waste management system adopted by the industry in order to make some adjustment and improvement in moving towards sustainable solid waste management. The Solid Waste Management in Malaysia can be considered poorly and disorganized. The most preferred method of disposal is the landfilling because of many factors. The results obtained from this paper is to review the situation on the present state of Municipal Solid Waste and its management in Malaysia and also potentials recyclables items.
