Abstract
|
The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting safety work culture in the oil and gas platform located in the South China Sea. The study has been carried out to identify the actual factors that have contributed to the increase trend of the safety incident in this platform for the last few months. There are five factors has been identified which consist of leadership, safety program, attitude, workload and competence level. Each of the factors will be evaluate base from Likert scale to find out which is the factors that need improvement in order to increase the level of safety awareness and safety work culture in the platform.
By doing this study, it can help manager carry out that recommended action plan to resolve any weaknesses found
