Abstract
|
To be successful and be regarded as among the best employers and the preferred
provider in healthcare services, a company among others things should be able to
strike a balance between business goals and employees needs. As an employee in
any organization job satisfaction is important and varied as individual themselves.
The job satisfaction among the staff is enduring and very complex and may have
positive or negative effect on its staff and the workplace. The satisfaction will
determine the survival of the organization over the long term especially in the
Healthcare Industries. The satisfaction among the staff can help us to understand
why people will remain and still loyal to the organization. It will also help us to
determine to strive to make change in our current situation to retain and deploy our
professional staff. The process used in this research is for assessing the loyalty of its
staff to remain working with the organization and involved conducting group of
employee written staff surveys, followed by analysis of the information. The
research objective is to answer the status of an organization future in KPJ Perdana
Specialist Hospital from the aspect of salary structure, job task and job design,
recognition, staff relationship and working condition outcome. The findings can
help KPJ Perdana Specialist Hospital to identify the factors that affect staff
satisfaction and thus would enable the staff loyalty (Loyalty of staff). The retention
of staff would help the organization growth better and sustainable. There is a strong
relationship between retaining of staff and performance based with the followings
ideas where an organization with strong and satisfied staff will have employees
moving towards the same goals as the organization. A retain and satisfied staff
could increased the motivational level of employees, which would then lead to a
willingness to work harder with more courage. A retain and strong staff provides a
good structure and control system without having to rely on a formal bureaucracy
system that can deteriorate workers’ performance.
