Abstract Classroom Based Assessment (CBA) is getting much attention in today's Education System in Malaysia. The previous assessment method which was fully based on examination has been fully changed to Classroom Based Assessment for the Level One pupils.The readiness and challenges faced by teachers is one of the main issues to be focussed in conducting CBA as teachers are directly assessing the pupils. This research is to analyze the percentage of teachers who are prepared to carry out School or Classroom Based Assessment fully replacing examination. This research is also to find out the challenges and pressure faced by teachers while carrying out Classroom Based Assessment.
