Abstract
|
E-commerce has been ease consumer’s lifestyle since digital era started. The benefit of ecommerce is not limited to time saving but cost saving, reward point and flexibility (24-hours availability). Therefore, in travel industry most of the consumers are choose to purchase travel through online instead of travel agency. However, there are some of the consumer are still choose to purchase from physical store (travel agency). This study is to discover the factors that affecting the consumer’s buying decision, the effectiveness of the factors and the factor that hindering the consumer to purchase through online. This survey is targeted to conduct 200 respondents using digital survey with the random sampling method. Concluded the result obtained, most of the consumer that prefer online purchase are below 40 years old and the reason are convenience, time saving, cost saving, flexibility and reward point. Those consumers that prefer physical store are mostly above 41 years old and they think that physical store is more convenient and time saving. Besides, some physical store consumers will consider to purchase through online whereas minority will not consider purchase through online. The reason is because of the security concern. In conclusion, e-commerce does changes and influence consumers’ behaviour due to the various of advantages which will improved consumers’ lifestyle.
