Abstract
|
This study examines the importance of Technology Strategy in the organization and the interaction between Solution Providers and End Users which is happening in Malaysia. Technology strategy is required for each organization to ensure the technology is able to drive the business to move forward and achieve a better result. A Technology Strategy consists of right people with the comprehensive plan that uses the right technologies and strategy to create values for the organization. This study used Balanced Scorecard as the strategy analyzing tools to analysis the Importance of Technology Strategy. The findings indicate a significant relationship between Value and Strategy, Customer, Finance, Internal Business Processes, Learning and Growth towards the importance of Technology Strategy. While through the interview feedback, the profit margin and market share is the ultimate goal for Technology Strategy from the view of organization’s top management.
