Abstract
|
Over the years, the conventional banking had been seed into our daily lives. But market
environment changes every day. The current process in bank’s front counter had not been able to satisfying customer’s need. This research report is a study towards the work process for bank’s front counter in making decision either there is a need to redesign the process and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of bank’s front counter’s operation performance.
Understanding to LEAN 7 waste management, researcher wanted to test the agreement of bank’s
employees in improving performance for 6 waste environments that applicable to the bank’s
front counter operational process.
Researcher had performed surveys by the way of questionnaires, unstructured interviews and movement observation within the bank’s environment and its employees to identify potential xvii areas for improvements. One branch is chosen as a sample with 30 employees of the bank had provided their valuable feedbacks. The outcome of the surveys shows majority of the respondent agreed LEAN – Waste Management could lead to a better operational control. Putting LEAN incorporate into process could lead to indicate a better bank’s front counter operational performance.
