Abstract
|
The purpose of this study is to investigate on the current turnover situation facing the Organization. Research intends to investigate whether there is relationship and impact of its current Human Resources Management Practises on Security Guards Turnover Intention. Five hypotheses based on five independent variables of HR practises i.e. Compensation and benefits, Training, Career Development, Performance Management and Employee Relation Management were suggested with turnover intention as its dependent variable. Upon testing and analysing the results, it was revealed that there is significant relationship existed between the five independent variables of HRM practises with turnover intention. Specifically the independent variable of performance management, of which performance appraisal was noted to be significantly showing a very close link and impact on turnover intention. Overall, the results present evidences for the Organization management to take immediate corrective actions by reviewing its HRM practise to address turnover.
