Abstract
|
cNc company, a high tech projection solution provider, has gone through numerous times of restructuring and employees headcount streamlining for the past two years attributable to the exceptionally intense and competitive business environment.
While cNc company has been engaged in various forms of restructuring inclusive of retrenchment, it is imperative for the Management to comprehend the influential of the psychosomatic health of those who survive the retrenchment to the organizational success.
The main intention of the study is to provide better managerial knowledge to Human Resource and Executive Management of understanding the potential effects of demographic observe and to understand the association between survived employees’ satisfaction, commitment, and motivation after retrenchment in cNc company. The investigation attempt to answer two fundamental questions:
- Is there a level of satisfaction, commitment, and motivation change among the retrenched survivors after retrenchment in cNc company?
- Is there a correlation or association between the retrenched survivors’ satisfaction, commitment, and motivation after retrenchment in cNc company?
The study is anticipated to help cNc company to better understand the relationship and changes in retrenched survivors satisfaction, commitment, and motivation. The implication of the conclusion could be useful for the company management to sail across through the retrenchment practice and retain a continued commitment among the employees being retained.
