Abstract
|
Mergers and acquisitions are modern day models utilized by business organizations in order to enhance a firm’s competitive advantage. The following research therefore seeks to study the impact of a merger and acquisition on the Seagull Cooling Technologies firm. The study therefore looks at how an M&A will likely impact the triple A supply chain of the firm, how the above action will influence the company’s competitiveness level and also looks at some of the challenges the firm will encounter as it seeks to merge with other firms in the market such as Tru-waters. This research study will therefore seek to achieve its objectives by using questionnaires, conducting interviews and making observations. The study will involve the use of various quantitative and qualitative data analysis to evaluate the data from the respondents after which the results will be presented in easily understandable formats such as the use of graphs and descriptive analysis tables. Both quantitative and qualitative results will be presented in the most applicable format paving way to making conclusions from the results and recommendations.
