Abstract
|
The research is conducting an assessment for the joint venture team between Malaysia-China Engineering Construction for one of the track work packages under Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) line 2 projects. This research work aims to assessing the relation between team member competency and project service quality. A combination of qualitative and quantitative approachers used in this researchstudy, questionnaire presented in paper form, participant observation and randomly interview are used as a data collection tool. The research limited to the case study and the data sampling therefore limit to JV project team only. The analysis result identifies there are 5 dimensions being examinesas the risk factor that could impact to the project implantation and influent to the project performance. Besides to the risk factor, the study determinate 2 obstaclesin JV team and further recommend the workable suggestion for improvement. The research work suggested the future can be explore a workable strategy implementation and balancing of the members competency development.
