Abstract
|
The principal objective of this study is to analyse the factors affecting students’ low academic performance in Excel Learning Hub. This help to create a better understanding on the factors affecting their academic performance and find out the most significant factor. The factors subject to analysis include students-related factors, school-related factors and home-related factors. Researcher using quantitative research to gather information from students by sending out questionnaires and the results obtained were analysed by Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). The hypotheses are designed to explain the relationship between the dependent variables and the independent variables. Pearson Correlation and Multiple linear regression model was used to test the relationship between the variables. Findings show that students-related factors are the main contributor. The result revealed a positive and significant relationship between students who like to play games until late night and they are easily distracted by social media causes low academic performance.
