Abstract
|
The definition of lifelong based on Macmillan English Dictionary is 'continuing all through your life' So, coupled with lifelong learning, it definitely carries more 'weight' in respect of learning. Indeed, every day is a learning process without many people realizing it, subconscious mind rules. With the current trend of ever evolving technologies to go with, lifelong learning has been made much easier and well within the reach of many, wherever they are, unless too remote an area that one cannot access to the internet or what being ' connected'. This study looked in-depth on how adults engagement in lifelong learning in Open Universities leads to and to what extent one is willing to go all out to be in the group of lifelong learners, to persevere all the way to the 'grand finale' of achieving one's dreams, the sky is the limit indeed for those who are in it and no obstacles be it big or small deter one's dream of achieving what he or she wants in life.
