Abstract
|
Parental involvement is a fundamental to students’ success at every level, accompany is more important than a high-income family. However, many schools are struggling to engage parents in their children’s academic. The purpose of this research is to explore the role of school heads in engaging parents in selected international schools.
In this research, the role of school heads identified in way of promoting parental participation in school. The activities to promote parental engagement in school will be discovered. Specifically, this research has been conducted the effective practices of highly involved parents at the two international schools, and determined the hinder to parental involvement at two international schools. This study is conducted using the qualitative research design. The structured questions is used to produce individual specific responses about the opinions of the school heads on their everyday practices and why school heads think what they think about their practices and parental involvement, two parents are chosen from two different schools as participants to give their opinion about the supporting and hindering factors.
