Abstract
|
The objective and purpose for this study is determining what are the factors have been affecting the job satisfaction of employees in company XYZ (M) Sdn Bhd. The factors have caused a huge impact to affect the job satisfaction of employees as the number of customer complaints are increased due to poor quality service and product. In addition, over the past 2 years, the turnover rate of employees has a huge increased and poor work performance of employees due to the causes of low momentum and morale in reducing the level job satisfaction of employees. For the purpose of understanding the factors affecting the employee’s satisfaction, the survey activity is being conducted by developing structured questionnaire to aim 60 respondents for obtaining the survey data from the respondent’s feedback. From this study, the collected data enable for company to analyze and identifying the relationship between dependent variable and independent variables and moreover these factors have related to the theories of job satisfaction. Based on the outcome of survey, the overall current satisfaction of employees is dissatisfied with their job and indicating the mean value is 2.0083 is below the neutral mean value=3, refer to Table 4.3.1. From this study, the significance of factors affecting the job satisfaction such as work environment, sense of belonging and recognition. Furthermore, a few recommendations have been suggested on how to improve the level satisfaction of employees. Job satisfaction of employees is highly essential to make the success of the company as satisfied can build and perform well on their job. From this assessment of job satisfaction conducted will enable to find out the significance of factors affecting the satisfaction and dissatisfaction. In addition, the analysis of statistical data will indicate the significance of correlations between the both variables and the reliability and validity of research will help to determine the factors affecting the job satisfaction of employees.
