Abstract
|
This research is aimed to focus on understanding the factors that affect the effectiveness of technical training program provided by the organisation as technical training is one of the main training that is consistently provide to all employee of the organisation. Technical training provided consistently but the effectiveness of training was not clearly seen over the organisation. In the research, theoretical framework established the relationship of five independent variables identified namely experienced technical trainers, trainee self-motivation, training environment, training duration and management support towards arranging the technical training. A survey was conducted on the organisation employee who has attended technical training in the organisation via questionnaires designed in relation to the independent variable identified and to test the validity of the hypotheses established.
The research study shows that experienced trainer, trainee self-motivation, training
environment and support given by top management is the main factors which contributed
towards the effectiveness of the technical training provided by the organisation. Thus, strategic recommendations were put forward to the organisation management team to further improve the effectiveness of technical training provided by the organisation
