Abstract
|
This study is to examine the relationship between ISMS processes to the intention of
Information Security Management System (ISMS) Compliance in an e-commerce
organization. Only seven main processes were selected to identify the IS Policy attitude and
intention to comply. The processes selected are Policies and Procedures, Leadership
Commitment, IS Awareness & Training, Risk Management, System Control, Internal Audit
and Measures of Effectiveness. The study was conducted for an e-commerce organization which already ISMS certified for 6 years. The data collection is via a manual survey which an official awareness briefing was conducted before the survey is distributed to respondents. Data captured will analyze using SPSS tools. Most of organizations who ISMS certified mainly focus on the outcome the paper certification rather the process that benefit to them, many resources are given to obtain the certification but the entire organization does not fully understand the benefit but just for a paper. The study aims to bring awareness at the same time get study result will be used as a guide and help for this company for next action to take by understanding the respondents‟ feedback and understanding by knowing what and how to comply with existing processes.
