Abstract
|
In enhancing the economic growth for the country, alleviate poverty level in rural area and providing jobs to overcome the unemployment is the best interest of our government to promote land development project for agriculture particularly on NCR land development project for oil palm plantation in any targeted area. The main objective of this study is to access community leaders and individual participation upon NCR land development project for oil palm plantation in Ranan, Kanowit, Sibu, Sarawak. In accessing the participation is through depicted main objectives into significant areas such as identifying the problem when come to developing NCR land, knowing perception toward NCR land development project and determine the level of understanding upon NCR land development policy. There are 30 respondents comprises of 15 community leaders and 15 individuals did participated in this study by completing in-depth interview session by researcher. The discussion of the finding, implications, limitations and recommendations for future study are discussed in last chapter of this study.
