Abstract
|
This paper is aimed to study the critical success factors of within a manufacturing firm. The study helps the company to seek opportunities for overall company performance improvement by understanding the employees’ perception and suggestions towards ultimate organization goals and objective for success. After reviewing a number of literatures, it was observed that the critical success factors which affect company success of the said organization can be broadly grouped into 4 categories: financial, customer satisfaction, internal process and employee satisfaction. In addition, performance measurement believed to be the essential tools driving force of any individual action and utilize this tool to compare the real time result versus target plan result given initially. A survey was conducted among the manufacturing staffs and all necessary data and information were collected thru in dept interview with all the participants. The study was mainly base on a qualitative survey method, primary data was collected from interview and secondary data was gathered from both published and unpublished journal and business articles. After identified the critical success factor, it was then consolidate the findings, the study ends with some strategic recommendations for critical success factor improvement. The entire research project has taken about five months to complete and it began in Jan 2012.
